Origami Frog fail

 Hello readers,

Yes, it's another fail blog. This time it's about an origami jumping frog I tried to make. I don't know why I tried to make A frog. Even though the teacher gave us way easier options like an origami cat, or dog, but I chose frog for some reason.

The one thing I did enjoy though was.. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. What I think about origami is just tedious folding paper again and again until it makes A shape, or animal. I think that is very boring. I hope this picture explains everything:

A beautiful piece of paper ruined into a mutant frog-rabbit or something, I don't even know anymore.

I think what I can do better next time is that maybe I should get actual origami paper and not cut A normal piece of paper into  A 15x15cm paper. I also think I should practice my folding-in-half skill better because as you can see, I am very, very bad.

Also, if you want to know how to make A origami frog yourself,  Here's A google slide by Me:

Lockdown

As you all know, New Zealand is in lockdown due to the Delta outbreak. And while we are in lockdown, We have been doing some distance learning. Every day, our class has two daily meetings and one optional meeting if you want to join. The first meeting is from 9:00 to 9:15 for the teacher to tell us what we do for the day, the second meeting is from 10:30 to 11:30 for the second thing on what were doing for the day, and the optional third meeting is just for any queries or issues which is from 2:00 to 3:00. We have been doing lots of work in the lockdown, including blogs, (I'm doing one right now) writing, reading, maths, and a lot of graphs.

Quality Comments

Kia Ora Readers,

Today we learnt how to do A quality comment on blogs. We did A CyberSmart Slide about Quality blog comments. There are four things you should always do when commenting on somebody else's blog. They are;
Greeting
Positive
Thoughtful
Helpful.
I will explain how you will do these four things.
Greeting - Opening your comment.
To greet somebody in your comment just say "Kia Ora or Hi or something else.
Positive - Saying something good about somebody else's blog.
To say something positive in your comment, you say something like "I really like the fact that you.. or your choice of descriptive words is amazing or something.
Thoughtful - Being thoughtful about someone else's blog.
To be thoughtful in your comment you just say This brought me back when.. or this reminds me about A story I wrote!
Helpful - Giving constructive feedback about someone else's blog.
To be helpful in your comment, just give them some feedback or give them some more ideas for their next blog.

And that's it! If you take my advice from this blog, you'll have A quality comment!

Learning how to make characters fly on Scratch

Today our class learnt how to make characters fly past buildings on the coding website Scratch. To make characters fly you must do: when green flag clicked - forever trigger - set x (250) - repeat trigger (50) - change X by (-10). I will explain what these triggers do. So what the when green flag clicked trigger does is when you click the green flag, the code connected to it will activate. What the forever trigger does is when there is code inside of it, it will repeat the code forever. What the set X trigger does is when the selected sprite (sprite means character in coding) it will move X by 250. What the repeat trigger does is when there is code in the repeat trigger it will repeat as many times you want. What the change X trigger does is you can change the position of the selected sprite as much as you want. Here is an example of the code:

what a fail.

So, I was ripping the tape off my art, and I had A bit of trial and error. I hope this explains it.

Part of the yellow got ripped off, and there is blue paint everywhere. Even worse, it was the last strip of tape I was ripping off.

Why.

Painting Practice

Today we were experimenting with some tape and art for art. For this term on art we are focusing on Line & Colour. So we got A piece of paper and A roll of painters tape. We put tape into abstract designs and then painted inside the shapes. We then took the tape off for an amazing result. I cant show you mine yet because its still drying and I haven't took the tape off yet. Here is A photo from the internet though:
